- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients - Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims - Process insurance payments and reconcile accounts - Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies - Provide assistance and support to patients regarding insurance inquiries and billing questions - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure proper documentation and coding for insurance purposes Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred - Knowledge of dental insurance plans, procedures, and terminology - Proficient in using dental practice management software for insurance processing - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurance claims and payments - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve insurance-related issues effectively Note:
