Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations across all company locations.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance in warehouse environments.
Key
Responsibilities:
Standardize warehouse processes and practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Optimize material flow to support field labor and minimize delays.
Implement inventory management strategies to reduce investment and improve accuracy.
Recruit, hire, and train warehouse staff to maintain proper staffing levels.
Develop and manage warehouse KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee inventory management, including record-keeping and cycle counting.
Serve as a backup for the purchasing team and oversee returns management.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and certifications.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; formal education in logistics, warehousing, procurement, or business management is preferred.
A valid driver's license, a tow motor certification, or be willing to obtain certification if hired.
Understanding of GAAP, EBITDA, VMI, and Loss Control principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Service Titan and Intacct/Sage Accounting software preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Communication prowess verbally and in writing, documentation must be flawless.
Ability to analyze processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
